Mr Tsang recently carried out the third repair to my right inguinal hernia, the first two having been dealt with, unsuccessfully elsewhere. At my first appointment with Mr Tsang, he explained in detail the surgery I was to undergo, he answered all my questions fully and spent time putting my mind at rest. I found Mr Tsang to be a very professional, caring, and considerate man whom I genuinely felt I could trust. I would not hesitate in recommending him to anyone and would be more than happy to be referred to him in the future should the need arise. Thank you Mr Tsang.
Mr L. Poulson.
Nothing to improve: Mr Andrew Tsang was very informative which gave me much confidence in the surgery that followed and the results have been far better than expected very grateful to Mr Tsang and all the doctors,Nurse's involved a excellent experience . Well Done
About over a year ago, I was advised by various doctors
to have my enlarged spleen removed but that the choice
however, I was told, was mine.
But at that particular time, however, for various particular
reasons, and to feel safer, I myself did not want my
spleen removed; i.e. for fear of, as I'd both read about
and been advised about, possible infections, bad side
effects etc that one can get after a spleen removal operation.
But, however, about a year later, my already
enlarged spleen had by now got much bigger
and was classed as 'huge' by various doctors
and nurses I came across.
Also by this time, the size of the spleen itself
gave me feelings of discomfort with-inside the area
of my stomach; I was always feeling
very full all the time..and not just whenever I
ate or drank something but feeling full all day.
Then, after a lot of thinking, I decided to have
my very enlarged spleen removed and was
referred to Mr Andrew Tsang.
I found Mr Tsang to be a very straight forward
person who both listened to and answered
all the questions which I put forward to him
and he also gave me an impression
of being very professional and trustworthy
too.
I then eventually decided to have the spleen removal
operation.
Because of the, by now, enormous size of my
spleen, the operation itself took about 4 hours
to perform by Mr Tsang..but the operation
itself was a success!
It is now, while I'm writing this feedback,
about just over 2 months since I had my operation
and I don't feel full all day anymore-not even
when I eat or drink anything..and nor do I have
any other great feelings of discomfort anymore.
Given the circumstances of the very big size of
my spleen which, in turn, made it a difficult,
challenging job to remove, but at the same
time however, that the operation itself
was a success and that I don't feel any
discomfort anymore, I can therefore only
say that Mr Tsang did a tremendously great
job.
With reference to the previous comments made about Mr Tsang I think everything has been said regarding his skill and his clear way of explaining all details. Long may Mr Tsang continue with his amazing work at Peterborough City Hospital
Mr. Tsang is a really personable surgeon. He made sure that my questions were answered, and that I was well-informed. I think he does really well, and doesn't have much room (if any) for improvement. Hopefully, Mr. Tsang will keep behaving as he has, leaving a plethora of satisfied patients in his wake.
